Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! The system can be configured as either a single-user or multi-user solution, with up to eight users accommodated within a single run.
Because the Dolphin WashWall System is fully configurable to suit your project requirements, single-user and multi-user options are available in both the Classic and Solo styles.
A modular system means the solution is made up of separate, configurable components rather than a fixed, single-piece unit.
In the Dolphin WashWall System, this means elements such as behind mirror soap dispensers, commercial taps, hand drying units, pictograms, and LED lighting can be specified and arranged independently to suit different washroom layouts and requirements.
Each mirror system is built as a prefabricated modular unit, which simplifies on-site installation, reduces installation time, and improves overall cost efficiency by minimising labour and coordination requirements.
This makes the system highly flexible, allowing it to be adapted to different space sizes and design preferences.
It also supports easier installation, maintenance, and future washroom refurbishments, since individual components can be accessed, adjusted, or replaced as needed without affecting the entire system.
Simplified M&E Installation
A single water feed supplies all taps throughout the system, with a TMV3 valve included as standard, thus significantly reducing plumbing complexity.
A single electrical feed connects to the system’s central control box, powering all taps, touch free soap dispensers, hand dryers, and halo lighting in one unified connection. (Note: if halo lighting is specified on the LITE tier, it requires a separate electrical connection.)
Together, these consolidated services meaningfully reduce M&E coordination time, installation costs, and programme risk, which is a direct benefit for both you and your client.
Effortless Maintenance Access
Mirror fronts open effortlessly on gas struts and lock securely for servicing, making routine maintenance and consumable replenishment quick and straightforward with no specialist tools or trades required.
Greater Design Freedom
By housing all plumbing and electrical connections within the mirror system itself, the WashWall System removes the requirement for a significant wall void. This gives architects and designers greater freedom over wall construction, specification, and overall washroom layout.
If your project is working to a tight budget, there are several ways to reduce costs when specifying the WashWall system while still maintaining your overall design intent.
During the build phase, savings can be achieved by selecting standard system configurations and reviewing appliance choices, such as replacing hand dryers with paper towel dispensers where appropriate.
Additional cost efficiencies can also be made by removing optional elements such as integrated lighting, matching vanity surfaces, or splashbacks.
The Dolphin WashWall System can typically be installed in a couple of hours, helping to reduce overall programme time and minimise disruption on site.
Once the system is in place, only a simple electrical and plumbing connection is required, allowing final service connections to be completed quickly by an electrician and plumber.
Because the installation process is streamlined into a single, coordinated system, contractor time on site is significantly reduced, helping lower labour costs and simplify project coordination.
Yes. It is designed to reduce water and energy use, support low-carbon building strategies, and contribute to BREEAM, LEED, and WELL certification requirements.
